Shipping + Delivery

Where do you ship from?

Depending on the product, your order may be shipped from different locations:

  • Studio Shipped Orders (Australia only)
    Greeting cards, stickers, and washi tapes are packed and shipped directly from my Melbourne studio. Orders are dispatched within 3 business days.
  • Dropshipped Orders (Australia & International)
    Art prints are printed and shipped by our trusted fulfilment partners. Orders are produced and dispatched from the fulfilment centre closest to your delivery location to help keep shipping times and costs reasonable.
Do you ship internationally?

Yes — Hello Elks offers free worldwide shipping on all art prints!

At this stage, greeting cards, stickers, and washi tapes are only available for delivery within Australia.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Studio Shipped Orders (Australia only)

How much is shipping?

Studio Shipped Orders (Australia only)

Do you offer express shipping?

Yes — express shipping is available on studio shipped orders for $15.

Will my order arrive in multiple packages?

If your order contains items shipped from different locations (for example, studio-shipped products and art prints), they may arrive separately and at different times.

Will I need to pay customs or import fees?

International orders may be subject to customs duties or taxes depending on your country’s regulations. Any additional fees are the responsibility of the recipient.

My order hasn’t arrived — what should I do?

What payment methods do you accept?

Hello Elks currently accepts the following payment options:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, UnionPay, JCB)

Can I change or cancel my order?

Unfortunately, once an order has been placed it cannot be changed or cancelled, as many items begin processing shortly after checkout.

Where can I find my order confirmation?

Your order confirmation will be sent to your email address and is also available in your customer account (if you created one at checkout).

Do you accept gift cards or discount codes?

Yes — gift cards and discount codes can be applied at checkout when available. Sign up to the Hello Elks mailing list to get the insider scoop on special offers and discounts 💌

Returns + Exchanges

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

At this time, Hello Elks is unable to accept returns or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases.

What if my order arrives damaged?

If something’s not quite right, I want to make it right 💛

Please get in touch via the Contact Form or email emmi@helloelks.com with photos of the issue. Please include a photo of the unopened external packaging if damaged. You can choose to receive:

  • a replacement; or
  • a refund.
How do I start a return or exchange?

To report a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please reach out via the Contact Form or email emmi@helloelks.com.

Once I've reviewed the issue, I will let you know the next steps and the correct return address if needed.

Product Questions

What size are your art prints?

Physical art prints are available in the following sizes:

  • A4
  • A3
  • A2
  • 25 × 25 cm
  • 40 × 40 cm

For easy home printing, all Digital art print files include both:

  • A4 size
  • US Letter size
How do digital art prints work?

Digital prints are delivered instantly via email after purchase. You’ll receive a download link once checkout is complete.

What size are your greeting cards?

Greeting cards are A6 when folded.

Are the colours in person the same as on screen?

I do my best to represent colours as accurately as possible. However, due to screen settings and the nature of printed products, colours may vary slightly in person.

Are your stickers waterproof?

Yes! Stickers are printed on durable, waterproof vinyl and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

How should I care for my art prints or stickers?

For best longevity:

  • Keep art prints out of direct sunlight and moisture
  • Stickers are waterproof, but avoiding prolonged exposure to harsh weather will help them last longer
Who designs your products?

All designs are illustrated by me — Emmi Kerkham, an Australian illustrator and surface designer, working from my Melbourne home studio. You can learn more about me here.

Where are your products printed and manufactured?
  • Greeting cards are printed locally here in Australia.
  • Art prints are produced using print-on-demand partners, allowing global availability without excessive shipping costs or overproduction.
  • Stickers & washi tapes are custom-manufactured with a trusted overseas production partner who specialises in high-quality products for independent artists and small businesses.

All artwork is created by me, and production partners are chosen carefully based on quality, reliability, and their support of small creative businesses.

Why do you use print-on-demand for art prints?

Print-on-demand allows each print to be made especially for you once an order is placed. This helps reduce waste, avoid overproduction, and keep the process more sustainable.

It also allows me to offer my artwork worldwide without the high shipping costs that often come with sending prints from Australia. This approach keeps things flexible, thoughtful, and accessible — while allowing me to focus on creating new work.

Do you restock sold-out items?

Yes! If something is sold out, use the “Notify me” button on the product page to join the waitlist and be the first to know when it’s restocked.
